Dr. Subhash Kelkar

Subhash Kelkar is technical leader in Durability and CAE of Vehicle Systems at Ford Motor Company. His recent accomplishments include the development of the Durability Attribute Engineering Process, the Durability CAE Process, and the Simplified Loads and Analysis Process. He has also been active in developing and teaching various technical courses within the company. He is a member of SAE and has been actively involved in planning the SAE International Body Engineering Conference since 1995. Subhash joined Ford in March 1977. Since January 1995, the focus of his technical expertise has been in the area of Durability of Body and Chassis structures. Subhash holds an M.S. (1969) and a Ph.D. (1973) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla.
