Jean Mallebay-Vacqueur is Director of DaimlerChrysler Corporation’s Emissions & Environmental Testing Laboratories for Chrysler Engineering in Auburn Hills, MI. DaimlerChrysler Scientific Laboratories, which helps manage program risk mitigation in multi-billion dollar product investments, networks with similar organizations within Mercedes, Mitsubishi, Hyundai, and constantly benchmarks itself with outside competition. Mr. Mallebay-Vacqueur’s extensive automotive engineering business experience has spanned over 25 years, in four continents, from Marketing to Finance, from International Operations to Manufacturing. After joining Chrysler Engineering 15 years ago, he led the Dodge Viper Enterprise and the Chrysler Advanced Technology Group responsible for Electric Vehicles, where they redefined automotive development through teams. Since then, he has been responsible for rebuilding and running Scientific Labs. He oversaw more than half a billion dollars in investment in equipment & facilities, within ten years transforming the operation into one of the world’s premier research development enterprises in both the experimental and digital realms.
