Dr. Ghosh is the Chief Engineer, Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) at International Truck and Engine Corporation, the operating company of Navistar International. He is responsible for leading a centralized group of CAE managers and analysts at the Truck Development and Technology Center, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Mr. Ghosh’s responsibilities include communicating vision and implementing strategies to integrate advanced CAE techniques into the product development process, developing and maintaining core CAE competencies through model-based product development (MBPD), and driving the validation of CAE methods by using planned and future physical testing.

Dr. Ghosh is highly experienced and knowledgeable in mechanical structural analysis, design optimization, software development, scientific modeling, and product and project management. Previously, Dr. Ghosh was the product manager and a lead developer of structural analysis and optimization software at Vanderplaats Research and Development in Colorado Springs, CO. He is also a technology consultant to Wall Street investment bankers.

Dr. Ghosh earned his PhD degree from Vanderbilt University in 1996 in structural engineering with a minor in computer science. He also holds a MBA degree in finance and information systems from the University of Colorado. Dr. Ghosh has published twenty-five peer-reviewed papers on national and international journals and conferences. He is a regular participant in a number of technical meetings and conferences. He is a member of SAE, ASCE, AIAA and a Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honorary.
