Currently leading a team of engineers in charge of simulation for John Deere tractors worldwide. Ms. Popescu-Gatlan’s career spans almost two decades and covers products ranging from hydraulic components to consumer and construction equipment products to agricultural equipment. Over the years she has been involved, with very diverse teams, in numerous technology projects, ranging from developing the first durability integrated approach to virtual fatigue life prediction at Deere, to new projects involving new technology application, to Knowledge Management Streamlining projects.

Ms. Popescu-Gatlan holds an MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Transilvania and an MBA from Northwestern University.
