Stan Posey manages SGI's strategy for High Performance Computing (HPC) Applications and Industry Development for North America. He is responsible for the advancement of SGI's HPC application technology and solutions, with emphasis on the manufacturing industry. Mr. Posey has over 20 years experience within the HPC industry and has contributed in various roles including engineering and research positions at DOE Oak Ridge National Laboratory, consulting and software vendor CD adapco Group, and systems developer at Control Data Corporation. Mr. Poseys' education includes a M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
