Dr. Bruce E. Webster is a Simulation-based Design Specialist at Visteon as well as President and Consultant of Pioneer Solutions, Inc. Pioneer assists corporations with software products and services to enable them to have a product development process based upon simulation-based design (SBD) principles. Prior to forming Pioneer Solutions, Inc. Dr. Webster was a founder of Simmetrix, Inc. a market leader in component and toolkit software that enables SBD. Since, 1994 Dr. Webster has focused on assisting Visteon Corporation, John Deere and Whirlpool to develop and deploy SBD software and principles within their PD organizations. Prior to that Dr. Webster was Manager of Modeling and Mesh Generation at Centric Engineering, a CAE engineer at Kaman Sciences, and a manufacturing engineer at Browne & Sharpe. Dr. Webster holds a Ph.D. in aeronautical engineering from RPI and MSME, BSME for WPI.
