Mr. Young leads Boeing Phantom Works Structures Technology in Seattle, an organization of design, strength and loads engineers developing next generation tools and products for Boeing’s Integrated Defense Systems and Commercial Airplanes business units. He leads the enterprise-wide development programs for Structural Analysis Tools and Globally Integrated Loads. These programs are developing and streamlining the structural analysis process from preliminary design to product margin of safety.
Mr. Young joined Boeing in 1984 after earning a BS and MS in mechanical engineering from the University of Utah. His experience includes Peacekeeper, B2, F22 and JSF production programs and various research and development efforts.
