Biography

Bill Kunz is the CVN 21 Information Technology Manager for Northrop Grumman Corporation. The CVN 21 is the Navy's newest aircraft carrier design and the first carrier to be product modeled. In this capacity he is responsible for the CAD/CAM/CAE environment and its integration with SAP and the integrated data environment. He is also responsible for the strategic direction of engineering solutions and its alignment with product development including life cycle support.

Prior to joining Northrop Grumman, Kunz served in the United States Navy. During his naval career he held positions of increasing responsibility in developing and deploying advanced information system solutions. He has held several leadership positions in the coordinated integration of detection and fire control systems and its integration into battle theater operations. Kunz holds a BS degree in Geology and a BA in Music from Northwestern University. He also holds an MA in Engineering Management from the University of Iowa.
