Biography

Hiromi Mori is the General Manager of Digital Process Ltd.’s CAD/CAM Development Department. Mr. Mori joined DIPRO in September 2000 and is responsible for the management of CAD/CAM/DMU development as well as core CAD and Visualization technologies. Mr. Mori is responsible for leading the development of the High Performance Visualization Technology used in DIPRO’s VridgeR product.

Prior to DIPRO, Mr. Mori was a Manager and Senior Systems Engineer in the Engineering Systems Department of Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. He joined the Nissan Motor Company in 1977. Initially Mr. Mori was in charge of the development of CAD Systems and developed much of the core technology of Nissan's in-house 3D "CAD-II" (Wire and Surface based). When Nissan changed its in-house system to a solids-based system, Mr. Mori was responsible for the research, customization and deployment of the new system.

Mr. Mori's last task in Nissan was the coordination of an IT alliance between Nissan Motor and Renault SA.
