Biography

Dennis (Denny) Raitz is an Associate Technical Fellow at The Boeing Company in St. Louis, Mo. Raitz has been involved with the development of Boeing’s Class IV IETM system since 1994. His duties include IETM process improvement Research and Development, IETM author training and consulting, and S1000D specification development. Raitz has been with the McDonnell Douglas/The Boeing Company for 26 years as a technical writer on the F/A-18A/B/C/D, A-12, AFX technical publication programs and the F/A-18E/F IETM. He has also has been deeply involved in the Boeing IETM Class IV/V estimating and process development.

Raitz has also been heavily involved with Aerospace Industries Association (AIA) Technical Publication activities. His involvement with the European IETM specification (S1000D) has led to a collaborative effort of developing an international specification involving AIA, U.S. DoD, ATA, commercial airlines, and European MoDs and industry.
