Mark Cox is currently a program manager for the Westinghouse Savanah River Company at the Savannah River site in Aiken, South Carolina. In this role he manages the effort to integrate plant information management systems containing the 50-year-old legacy document and data infrastructure at SRS that spans media technology from hand-drawn sepias to intelligent 3D models. He has also been involved in the configuration management and start-up of the $2 billion Defense Waste Processing Facility project and, prior to that, was the configuration management program manager and startup lead responsibile for the $400 million Replacement Tritium Facility project. Mr. Cox has twenty six years of engineering and managerial experience in equipment design and development, facility design, plant maintenance, and both large and small projects, with thirteen years of hands-on experience involving business engineering processes in both the EPC and O&M side of work activities for both "greenfield" and "brownfield" projects. He has a bachelors and masters of electrical engineering, with a specialization in computer architecture.
