Robert Donaho is Director of Design Engineering and Design Technology for Dow Chemical. His responsibilities include all detail design engineering for internally executed major projects as well as technical support for outsourced projects. His technology role includes development and support of Dow’s global design engineering standards and practices. Mr. Donaho is also responsible Computer Aided Engineering strategy, design engineering computer tool acquisition, deployment and support for Dow. His career spans 27 years with Dow. He has extensive experience in CAE systems planning and deployment including implementation of 2D and 3D systems. He has also managed Piping Design and Project Engineering for Dow’s central engineering operations, and has led the Design Engineering organization for both Dow’s Houston and Rotterdam engineering operations. Mr. Donaho holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Duke University and an MBA from the University of Houston.
