As manager of engineering and design systems at Merck & Company, Inc., Ms. Jones oversees the selection, development, support and implementation of engineering and design applications for central engineering and for the development of standards and the improvement of the engineering information lifecycle company-wide. The primary mission of the organization is to maximize the benefits of these applications to reduce design and construction cycle-time and improve data turnover to maintenance and operations. Ms. Jones has over eighteen years of industry experience and has previously held positions for EPC and subcontractor firms, as well as her current position with a leading owner/operator. Ms. Jones has also served on the Technical Advisory Board of Fiatech and as an active participant in ISO10303 (STEP) initiatives such as the AP227 (PlantSTEP). She hold a bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering from the State University of New York and a master of science in technology management from Stevens Institute of Technology in New Jersey.
