Andreas Rumpel

Andreas Rumpel is head of the SAP Customer Center of the Lurgi Group. Prior to this he was the project manager for the development and rollout of the joined SAP template of the Lurgi Group. Previous to this function he was responsible for the departments' Organization and Scheduling at Zimmer AG. He has had extensive experience in BPR and IT project management. Until 1991, he worked as lead engineer for process automation and instrumentation in various projects in the USA and Spain. Mr. Rumpel holds an engineering degree in applied physics.

This presentation describes the implementation of a common database and functionality for EPC project execution in the Lurgi Group ERP system, which includes support of the engineering, procurement, site management and project cost control processes.
