Dr. Frank Crawley of Strathclyde University is a leading academic and safety consultant in the field of plant safety. Dr. Crawley has co-written three books on plant safety, and has published more than 30 papers on techniques for loss prevention. He has been a Plant Manager and Commissioning Manager for ICI and a Loss Prevention Manager at BP. Dr. Crawley received a PhD from the University of Strathclyde, and he is a Fellow of the Institution of Chemical Engineers. Brought up in Liverpool in the Beatle Era, Dr Crawley had his first Bank in Penny Lane.
