Troy J. Di Natali is president and principal engineer of Remote Engineering and Design Company, Inc. (READCo), a firm which specializes in utilizing 3D laser scanning technology (LADAR) to execute engineering and design projects. Di Natali’s expertise is in chemical engineering, but he also has experience in the fields of mechanical and instrumentation and control engineering, including project management. His experience spans a period of more than sixteen years and he has worked with companies such as Vision Ease Incorporated, Occidental Chemical Corporation, Witco Corporation, Jolly Consultants Incorporated, and W.H. Linder and Associates Incorporated. A leader and team player, Di Natali has supervised on energy sector projects in excess of $1 billion, from conception through execution. These include oil export facility upgrades in Kazakhstan, C.I.S. for Tengizchevroil and a new tension leg platform in the Gulf of Mexico for Royal Dutch Shell. In addition, Di Natali has executed the instrumentation and control design of several wastewater and drinking water processing plants in Louisiana. Such projects comprised process systems engineering, environmental engineering, civil engineering, structural engineering, mechanical engineering, control systems engineering, electrical engineering, project planning / controls, safety / loss prevention, project management and contract administration. In 2000, Di Natali founded READCo and became a leading engineering service provider. Perhaps one of the most notable projects using LADAR was his work on Petronius, which was featured in the Spar Point Research electronic magazine and also the August 2005 edition of Offshore Engineer. Di Natali is a registered professional engineer in the field of chemical/process engineering in the states of Florida and Louisiana and holds a bachelor of science in chemical engineering from the University of South Florida.
