Rolf Gibbels is Dassault Systemes’ industry manager for the Process, Power & Petroleum domain in the Americas.

Mr. Gibbels joined Dassault Systemes in May 2001 and brings nearly 15 years of experience in high technology and the computer-aided design software market to his role in PLM sales. He focuses primarily on developing new opportunities in a market now realizing the need for product lifecycle management. His dedication and experience in bringing the benefits already realized by other major industries to this burgeoning market have already achieved several notable successes in the hydro and nuclear power generation and oil and gas industries.

Mr. Gibbels originally came to the United States in 1995 and worked for Visio Corporation and Bricsnet, where he was responsible for product management, business development and sales surrounding their engineering and architectural solutions.

Mr. Gibbels holds a masters degree in Structural Engineering from the University in Munich, Germany and has extensive experience working for leading engineering and architecture firms in Germany.
