Kevin Hunter joined Lyondell in 1981 at the Tuscola, Illinois plant (then USI Chemicals) and held various positions in maintenance engineering and inspection, as well as superintendent assignments in the reliability, production and maintenance departments. In 1998, he relocated to Lyondell's Houston headquarters as part of a business & IT team responsible for implementing SAP within the Lyondell - Equistar joint venture. He has served in leadership roles in several large-scale SAP implementation and upgrade projects as Lyondell grew and additional locations (including manufacturing sites in France and the Netherlands) were incorporated into the global single instance of SAP. He currently serves as business solutions manager - manufacturing maintenance and operations - for the Lyondell IT department. Primary areas of responsibility are the SAP plant maintenance and project systems modules as well as numerous manufacturing support applications, many of which are integrated with SAP. Mr. Hunter is a graduate of the University of Illinois with a degree in mechanical engineering.
