Justin Roux is the head of marketing for AVEVA Group plc, having joined the company in 2001. He has worked in the engineering and IT industries for 16 years, beginning as a structural and piping stress analyst for Foster Wheeler Energy Limited. Following nine years of international project assignments in offshore, petrochemicals and mining, Justin was involved in SmartPlant technology at Intergraph before leaving for AVEVA. Justin is qualified in engineering and law by the University of Reading. He is a writer for the Howard Hughes Foundation and has written social and historic commentaries for The Lonely Planet and the British press. A regular lecturer at schools and universities and an active campaigner for the profession of engineering, Justin is also the editor of Pipeline magazine.
