Anne-Marie Walters is a chartered chemical engineer with substantial experience in plant environments. She currently works for Bentley Systems, Inc., where as director of marketing for Bentley Plant, she oversees strategic positioning for clients in the plant sector. Anne-Marie has an unusually broad understanding of current plant practices and requirements as they pertain to information management and systems, particularly in the operating context. Prior to joining Bentley, Anne-Marie worked at AtosOrigin, a large European-based systems integrator. During this time, she supported a variety of business development activities, primarily partnership with SAP in the oil & gas industry and public transportation sector. This activity built on her experience in the information technology sector as a member of Intergraph's Process & Building division for eight years. At Intergraph, she headed up marketing in Europe and was heavily involved in the development of Notia (later to become SmartPlant Foundation) and Intergraph's transition from the EPC market to Owner/Operators. Prior to her time at Intergraph, she worked for BP and ICI.
